This portable version of Minecraft had to be created by copying the files from the original game.

The problem could be caused by a number of issues, from file errors, to patches released by Microsoft. Me and a friend made the portable version of this game on his laptop at school, and he was the one messing with the server files. Honestly, for the server files, I have no idea how they work.
